mystery bird, southern Turkey (1 Viewer)

Last week I was birding a gully just north of the Euphrates River in Birecik, Southern Turkey. Saw this mystery bird and only had time to snap 2 terrible pics before it disappeared. Small size can be seen in comparison to the willow leaves. In the area were Menetries's Warbler, Blackcap, shrike, bulbuls, and Syrian Woodpeckers... though I don't think this is any of those. Nearby I've seen various sparrow species as well.

Ideas? Good luck... I think we'll strike out here.

A female/juvenile Passer sparrow of some sort. Whether P. domesticus, or P. hispaniolensis, or even P. moabiticus, I'd not like to say!

Thanks, Nutcracker! I'm OK with it being in the general sparrow species... a good enough ID for me. Appreciate the reply.
