New Orleans Duck - Mallard hybrid? (2 Viewers)

Hoping someone can help. I was in New Orleans two weeks ago and came across 100s of Black-Bellied Whistling-Ducks. Amongst one group of whistlers there were a few mallards, however there were a couple that had some mallard features but were likely hybrids. One was completely black, one was black but greenish head, and another was more clearly of mallard stock but odd coloring. Unfortunately I didn't have a proper camera. Thanks.
