This is my first post on BirdForum. Just recently had a new deck built overlooking the woods and I plan on sitting there bird watching in the coming months. I have always loved birds and when I was a young adult, in the 70's, I got my first SLR camera and started trying to take some good pictures of birds. Was somewhat successful considering the equipment I had. Look foward to reading the posts by others and start learning more about birds. I live near Atlanta, GA and I am a retired electrical contractor for industrial installations.

Thanks for the reply. I am 74 years old and so not spry enough anymore to get out and do a lot of walking in the woods, but I do have a great backyard and deck and hope to get some good pictures maybe.
