Nordmann's Greenshank? - Maharashtra, India, Dec 2021 (2 Viewers)

Akshi Beach, nr. Alibag in Maharashtra on 21 Dc 2020 are details in the comments below Brian. Absolutely no doubt about the ID Sandeep.

It is not listed by Praveen so, would I be correct in assuming it's a potential 1st?

Praveen et al (2016) lists it in Appendix 1 under species which require corroboration and, AFAIK, there have none more recent checking updates see- https://www.researchgate.net/publication/305307630_A_checklist_of_the_birds_of_India

There have been another two this month, sighted at Lothian, Sundarbans, West Bengal. @sbiswas.geo Do you have a definite date for this sighting?
December 21, 2020 at Akshi Beach, Alibag, Maharashtra. A lone bird spotted. (I wrote 2021 in post heading but later came to know that the sighting is a year old).
February 11, 2022 at Lothian Island, Sundarbans, West Bengal. Three juvenile birds spotted.
