old Nikon scope help required (1 Viewer)

I have just picked up an old Nikon scope cheap in excellent condition with a 20x lens on it as a spare. I am trying to find it whether I would be able to put a zoom on it if possible, but it doesn't have a model on it and was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me.

It is a green rubber armoured straight model with a pattern of triangles on either side. Lens appears to be 65mm.

Any ideas anyone??

Regards,

Stephen

Hi Stephen

There was a 15-45x zom made for the scope if you can find one. The objective lens is 60mm by the way.

Nev,

Thanks very much for that. What would that lens be described as, if you happen to know? I realise that sounds stupid, but I guess Nikon may have made other similar magnification zooms that wouldn't fit with the scope.

Stephen.

15-45 zoom for Nikon 60mm Spotting Scope circa 1992, from my old In Focus guide.
