Seems that if you can forgo the weather seals and the 5 axis IS this looks good value.
Hopefully it has the equivalent to the V2.0 firmware as the E-M5 when it comes to smaller AF target.

OK is it a worthy upgrade for my EPL5, i have to admit that i am surprised it is still going on with me, as it is a very fragile body, but it is still working and i am getting used to it.

I think it does.

Incidentally you can get an even smaller AF area without using-up a valuable Function Button on the E-M5 (and presumably, the other models as well) by activating the touch screen, selecting the touch focus, then zoom it up as far as 14x (or 7x if you've already activated the 2x digital zoom).

Normally, this causes a problem when you move the camera away from your eye after viewing through the EVF as the rear screen then 'comes alive' and with it, the touch focus is active and liable to accidental activation. By customising it to 'toggle' between the two you can set it up on the LCD screen then by just touching the button on the side of the viewfinder you can use the EVF only and move the smaller autofocus point around with the usual 4-way button.

You can also set up the EVF to be like the rear screen - normally it has the 'settings' etc around the 'picture' but by overlaying them onto the screen you get a slightly larger view of the image and flicking through the 'info' button will give you the different options which includes a full un-cluttered screen if you don't need to be reminded of your settings all the while.
