Hi Howard, they appear to be Salmon Arab, Madais fausta. When I lived in Kuwait I picked up a book called "Butterflies of Saudi Arabia and Its Neighbours" by Torben B. Larsen, published by Transworld Arabian Library. Possibly still available?
