Hi,

Does anybody know of any pelagics being run out of either Western Australia or Queensland, I'll be in Australia in July and August this year.

Cheers,

Mark

Australian pelagic trips tend to be few and far between - trips might not occur in a given month, or might be booked and get cancelled at the last minute because of bad weather.

There are trips from Southport but they are tricky to get on. I'll dig out the contact details later
Not a true pelagic but Seastar go out to a seabird colony in the Great Barrier Reef -just been on the trip today as it happens:

This is the current WA option I believe:

Contact for Southport:
Southern Oceans Seabird Study Association Inc. (SOSSA) - SOSSA Pelagic Trips Southport
While the website doesn't appear to have been updated for a little while that is still Paul's contact details - I think you have to email rather than use the phone numbers.

I'd forgotten about the Sunshine Coast trips also in Queensland:

Cheers for those, I'll look into getting on one.
