Out early and down to my patch to count the species for the BTO migration watch survey, the weather was perfect sunny with a light South Easterly breeze the scent of flowers hung on the breeze saw my first early Purple Orchids a Weasel and a number of Butterflies.

Swallow, Swift, Black-Headed, Herring, Greater-Black Backed Gulls,Sandwhich Tern GreyHeron, Cormorant, Guillemot, Kittiewake, Fulmar, Rook, Crow, Jackdaw, Magpie, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Pheasant, Grey Partridge, Kestrel, Blackbird, House sparrow, Greenfinch, Linnet Sedge Warbler Reed Bunting Blackbird, Starling, Pied Wagtail, Lapwing ,Wood Pigeon, Whitethroat completed the days total.
