Phone scope adaptor for Swarovski ATS 65 (1 Viewer)

If there is a good resource on the pros/cons of various phone scope adaptors, please point them my way, but in the meantime:

I am looking for a reasonably priced phone scope adaptor for my new Swarovski ATS 65. (I have quickly learned that there is no way I can do this handheld!) I am looking for an adaptor that I can use my existing case with, rather than having to switch to an adaptor-specific case. In addition, I would rather not pay the $250 for the VPA-2 right now. My current phone is an iPhone 12 mini, and while it is still in decent shape, I imagine I will need to upgrade in the near-ish future so my preference would be for something not model-specific. Any pointers would be appreciated!

VPA 2 would be the best option for phone upgrades in the future...

IMHO best is:

1. Universal attachment for the phone, i.e. Smartoscope (I own this) or VPA 2 (users who own this are happy with it). Phoneskope seems to be good too.

2. Dedicated (as opposed to universal) eyepiece connector. Reason being that we typically replace the phone much more frequently than the scope, and even if you replace the scope you may only need to get a new connector (as opposed to a whole new adapter).

3. Don't get a cheap one...it can be tricky enough as it is.

4. Don't overzoom with the scope, just zoom a little bit if anything and take advantage of the x2/3/5 phone lens.
