Pipit in Czech Ore Mountains on 4-May-2025 (1 Viewer)

This image of a Pipit was shot on 900 m asl in Prebusz. Immediately I thought of Water Pipit in non-breeding plumage, but I am not that sure anymore. Season should maybe be wrong. Thanks for ID to the experts

Hello Johannes,

its a Meadow Pipit imo.
Streaks on the underparts are distinct, not blurred and shortish and narrow.
And they are present on the belly-center.
All this is bad for a Water Pipit.
