Some sort of cuckoo, maybe? Just a wild guess, mostly to bump this thread.

Townsend's Solitaire?? (No idea why I first assumed it was taken in Australia.)

I dont know what it is, but not a European Robin with that long pp, broad buff fringes to the tertials and wrong bill shape (curved culmen).

And I cant match your bird with any european species.
Can you add location and date (presumable recent?) please? Thanks!
