Predation of Kestrel? Devon, UK. (1 Viewer)

Took a couple of feathers from a load where a bird had clearly been predated. Quite intrigued as presume these to be Kestrel feathers, wondered if others here agree? Was thinking based on the amount of plucked feathers on the ground that it was predated by a bird, question is what would/could have done so? There’s a pair of peregrines that nest about a kilometre from where we found it, would they predate a kestrel. Or sparrowhawk perhaps?

I'm not sure what these are, but you could always consult the featherbase website. Did you take a picture of the remaining feathers as well?
As for predation - if it's indeed a Kestrel, IMO Peregrine (or Goshawk, where it occurs) would be the most likely candidate, but other raptors (as well as fox or house cat) are theoretically also possible of course.
