Morning everyone.
Is this a female blackbird?it flies differently.it seems more upright and slender.the white throat baffles me. Thought it could have been a ring ouzel.arnt they summer visitors.?

I thought I’d spotted something I’d never seen before.

I have similar queries in my head from time to time. They seem quite variable, somewhat disappointingly so given the lack of description of all the different patterns, spotting, etc. There's a small entry for ringers about ageing and sexing if you're into such birding, though Blackbirds are a thankless job.
