The 16th report of “Rare birds in Morocco” (for 2010) has just been published, it includes two Moroccan firsts: African Crake Crecopsis egregia and Abyssinian Roller Coracias abyssinicus. It included also the second confirmed Moroccan Plain Swift Apus unicolor. Also of interest was a pair of Barbary & Peregrine ‘atlantis’ Falcons in a mating position, plus many other interesting records.
At the end of the report are included also 2 photos of a possible hybrid “Western Mourning Wheatear x White-crowned Black Wheatear” photographed at Tagdilt. One of the photos can also be seen here: http://www.pbase.com/cristianjensen/image/123215235

Wow, getting a 2010 report out for January 4th is good going to say the least. We are still at least six months short of getting our 2009 Leicestershire report out.
