Yesterday I was down at the park with my nephew and heard a lot of commotion to my left I noticed a couple of Magpies attack a juvenile Blackbird. It was ok just stunned but I stood next to it for a few seconds just to see if it was injured it looked fine I walked away and saw it move away but I kept a good eye on it till I saw it fly off to the nearby tree I scared off The Magpies the poor Female Blackbird was calling it’s the alarm call but I think I helped the youngster to safety.
