Hi, A friend will be in Amsterdam next week for 3 nights. She is not a birder but interested at a "What's that ?" level. I've said that she should see Great Crested Grebe on the side canals as we did in Feb 1999, do they still winter/breed in Amsterdam? What else should she look out for? She will not be able to leave the city area due to other commitments & no car. All ideas gratefully received and will be suggested to her. Thanks in advance. Regards Pete.
