Here's my first snake of the year (it's been a very wet winter in Moraga, California). Nice ringneck.

I love those ringnecks. I've seen them active in colder weather than most other snakes in the Bay Area.

Me too. This is usually the only time you'll see these in Moraga. I know there are sharp tails too, but have only seen them in cool weather. The kingsnakes and gophers should show themselves very soon.
