Were going to this hotel in November any one know if its good for bird watching/bird photography around hotel or surrounding areas.
 
Maybe try to line up a guide before you get down there? There are a lot of guys that double as drivers/guides. When I was there about 10 years ago we hired a driver recommended by friends who picked us up at the airport, he was also willing to take us inland to some of the cool waterfalls and other spots for about $70 per day. Maybe there are some local guides that offer knowledge about birding spots too?
