Roamwild feeder leak (1 Viewer)

Today it snowed and as I watched birds feeding I was amazed to see seed pouring out the feed hole of my new Roamwild feeder until it was empty. Anyone know what the problem is?

Hi Jdmumaw and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Sorry, I can't help with your problem. If no-one who later responds to your post can't help either it would probably be an idea to post in our Food and Feeders forum.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Depends what seed you're using.......if it is a small fine grain, such as white millet, then yes it will empty very quickly. Larger and mixed types will stay eg sunflower hearts though obviously some will spill out.

Hi, I’m new here.
I also have a Roamwild feeder. Have filled it with sunflower hearts. We’ve had it a year now and in spite of moving it around the garden we haven’t attracted a single bird. It’s very perplexing. We do have wild birds but mainly in our front garden where they happily use the cheaper feeders.
