Rome/Italy birding etiquette (3 Viewers)

Hello, heading to Italy (specifically Rome, Tarquinia, and Tuscania) in the heat of August. Not prime birding season, but every bird will be exciting to me! Planning to take my 8x42 binoculars and a canon powershot to help with ID.
My question is, is it acceptable to walk around with my binoculars in tourist areas and/or parks and neighborhoods? Is it safe to visit parks in the early morning by myself and look for birds? I live in Wyoming, where I am rarely see people when birding, and do not have much experience with Urban birding so am wondering about etiquette.

Grazie

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. I think MelospizaMelodia-Fan is spot on.

Hi Grazie and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
