Rose Pink ED50 (1 Viewer)

Oh yes, do. Do. We could start a whole new movement. Reclaiming birding from khaki. ;)

(The flaw in this plan is that I look better in khaki than in pink but what the heck. :) )
I´m sure you can carry off both khaki and pink with equal elegance, Helen Elizabeth! Congratulations on the Pink ED50....I´m seething with jealousy! Just wait till my Day-Glo Pink Duct Tape arrives, ha! Then we´ll see who´s the Optics Queen!

I think photographic evidence is called for. I want to see a whole new thread called 'Pimping up your scope'. You start. ;)

I still don't understand that. I've read and re-read it but still don't get it. Can you explain it to me? Maybe in a PM if it's rude, I bet we're all about to get a severe modding here......;)

Ok. For "particularly proficent" read "cunning". And another clue if you're familiar with the work of the Not The Nine O'Clock News team.

Kinda lingers Sancho.

Hope this helps

All the best

I don't know what you lot are talking about but I think Nikon could have pushed the pink scope a bit harder. For appeal to women it's got the opposition well and truly licked and should go down extremely well.

I don't think there's any need for all the childish innuendo which has been going on.;)

I once sold the only Optolyth 22X60 rubber armoured spotting scope ever made, that had black shiny rubber instead of regular green rubber. A young woman bought it because it was cool to have the only one made.

A pink ED50? They've got that idea from Vixen, who in the past, had a variety of colourful scopes in pastel shades.

Scope covers.

For the camp or those not shackled by persona insecurities -

a.) Sequins
b.) Glitter
c.) Paper or plastic stars
d.) Cut and paste Robbie Williams images
e.) A Harrods carrier bag
f.) Hardened humus
g.) Any Fired Earth natural floor covering

For those that wish to appear hard -

a.) Tarmacadem
b.) Distressed elm
c.) The sleeve from an old waxed Barbour jacket
d.) Asbestos
e.) A gimp mask
f.) Defecation from a variety of angry breeding seabirds
g.) Chitin beetle wing cases, sown together in a fashion similar to that seen made by that character in Silence of the Lambs

Ah-ha! Now I get it...I think...like an old joke here about the national airline....anyway, have you tried the Pink ED50 in the field, Helen Elizabeth? Which is best, looking through it or looking at it?

I haven't got mine yet, Sancho, and the only ED50 I have tried previously was green. Obviously, the green one was completely different and I couldn't possibly comment. ;)

Lizzie has found me some little purple butterflies to stick on mine when it turns up. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the eyepiece yet so until the next bit of finance is available looking at it is all I will be doing. :C

rather than exotic products for the camp birding fraternity. . . .

Or the female birding fraternity. Come to mention it, we're very badly catered for - the whole thing is so male-orientated that no-one considers we might want some things a little bit more girly.
