RSPB are going to start a two year trial allowing free admission to under 24’s to RSPB reserves from early November 2023! The Guardian! (1 Viewer)

Oddly the Guardian article seems to suggest that if a person under 24 arrives on their own, they get in free, but if a family is purchasing entry to a reserve, they get free entry for one child but then have to pay for the rest. You rather wonder why the children wouldn't just come in separately:

"This article has been updated to clarify that entry will not be free to all under-24s: families with children between six and 15 years old will receive free entry for one child, then have to pay half price at some reserves for additional children."

I think this scheme is just for 16-24 yr olds. Very much aimed at getting young people engaged, which has got to be a good thing.
