Is this a pectoral sandpiper? photo taken a couple days ago near Lincoln NE USA.

I see a suggestion of a white eye line, as well as a subtle eye ring and a dark cap. It is a stretch but I see a possibility of a vagrant sharp-tailed sandpiper. Anyone else care to explain why I am wrong (I probably am)? Comparing the two birds in the photo they looked markedly different, enough for me to question it.

I'll admit I did not consider Sharp-tailed, but doing a little checking, it seems that species should be in breeding plumage by now, with dark chevrons running down the flanks.
