Scarce Swallowtail sp, Málaga province, 22.06.2006 (1 Viewer)

Paul Winter
I've been going through my Lightroom catalog attempting to correct all the incorrect IDs and I find this Iphiclides pic from the Sierra de Aguas in Málaga province in 2006.

Is there any way of distinguishing between Scarce Swallowtail (I.podalirius) and Iberian Scarce Swallowtail (I. feisthamelii).

Whichever it is it has by far the longest tail streamers of any I've managed to photograph.

Thanks, Paul

Thank you all. In my most recently bought Butterfly book (Haahtela et al 2nd edition 2019) the distribution maps for both Scarce Swallowtail and Iberian Scarce Swallowtail both have the whole of the Iberian Peninsula in their range so I was confused.
