If you are on Twitter and follow WaxwingsUK you will have noticed a lot of Waxwings sightings there are some in my area too so I’m going to have a look next week. If you aren’t on Twitter but are in FB there are Waxwings sighting groups.
 
Here in Hong Kong to have merely one Japanese Waxwing would be a real treat this winter (and also dependent on irruptions from colder regions).
 
This sounds promising, it's been 5 years since I saw just 3 waxwings whilst walking on a trail near me in Derbyshire.
You're replying to a post from last winter, not relevant to now. Also last winter wasn't anything special for waxwings anyway these predictions about invasions of different species often turn out to be rubbish.
