There's been the odd one or two around for a few weeks (Kent) - had around 50 over the local sewage works last Saturday.

There's been the odd one or two around for a few weeks (Kent) - had around 50 over the local sewage works last Saturday.

Had them three weeks ago in ones and two's large groups for the last two weeks. Also swifts have arrived

Three at Wicken Fen on Sunday were my first of the year, but today was my first one seen at work. We have nests in the sheds, so it's always a summer of Swallows, with three pairs of parents swooping in above my head, seeing the little faces of each brood as they grow, and late summer lunch breaks watching them passing food and preening on the phone wires. I think I spend more time with Swallows than any other bird

Yes I've seen them at a couple of farms north of Glasgow.
