Good news that hopefully this lovely bird is now over the worst and will recover sufficiently to allow them to release it back to the wild. I have photographed SEO's in the wild and they are amazing to watch. 👏
Personally I'm not always totally convinced that treating a bird with such injuries as this is humane. I would imagine the prognosis might not be very positive and might mean it has to spend the rest of its time in captivity. Not knocking the great effort spent treating the bird at all just my personal opinion. Hopefully it will make a full recovery tho.
