A Valley Birder
2 SE Owls followed between 4.45 and 5.45 near the Tredegar and Rumney Golf Club entrance. Pairing squabbling high up and calling, 15m from the the road and car. One bird disappeared over the moorland shortly afterwards. The other perched on a post south of the road for 10 mins. Also merlin sighted moving south over the course. Together with a setting sun, a good afternoon had by all.
