Sigma 150-500 OS and 300mf4+TC ? (1 Viewer)

I've used the Tamron zoom 200-500, and the Nikkor 300/4 with 1.4 teleconverter. I have to say that the 300/4 is in another league to the zoom in terms of sharpness and image quality. It's great wide open, and there's no discernable image softness with the converter on.

I would expect the new Sigma zoom to be similar to the Tamron zoom in terms of image quality, albeit with image stabilisation. But I've never used this lens in particular.

I agree with Helios, I have the Tamron 200-500 and it is a great lens. I also have the Nikon 300/4 and a 1.4 TC it is a lot sharper even with the TC. Still keep the the Tamron though.
