Slow day at the Brooks (1 Viewer)

The better half and I had a wander around RSPB Pulborough Brooks today, it was very quiet. Really brings home the drought as well, nearly every pond, ditch was dry to the bone, with just a small area of water left on the North Brooks, what effect this will have on the life in them, I don't know, although I think when they refill, life comes back pretty quick! Hopefully things like the Water Voles will be ok. Didn't see much today although a distant Whinchat was nice and several Green Sandpipers and Black-tailed Godwits were taking advantage of the last bits of water!! a full report and some pics on the Blog at the link below!!
