Need help with these birds, seen this week in southern Kruger Park

Agree but 4 is Black-backed Puffback

Agree. Immature without the red eye so typical of the adults.

The tail is too long for Brubru, and lacks the compact impression of that species. My only issue is that I would have expected white outer tail feathers

They are not visible unless the tail is a bit spread
