Sparrowhawk 1cy sex (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

this is my first post on this forum.
I have been observing and photographing several sparrowhawks for about 2 years in north west Germany and I´m struggeling a lot with gender of the juvenile birds.
I have uploaded some of them and linked them in this post (hope that is okay with forum rules?).
Can anyone give any advice on these individuals and furthermore, any advice in general? I read some older posts in this forum that had (probably) useful external documents linked, but because of their age, none of them was still available online.

I am very curious what you can tell and thank you in advance!

Thanks for the replies!
I spent a considerable amount of hours and days and… at a sunflower field throughout the winter. This field attracted a lot of song birds.
With patience and learning it’s behaviour and tactics on approaches, I could get lucky sometimes. There were several juvenile birds and with the growing data I tried to identify individuals. Which doesn’t work with any given image, just close and good ones :)
My original goal was a picture of a sparrowhawk chasing a finch into the camera. Did not work out the way I wanted. But got a lot of other shots instead :)
Best regards,

Thank you very much. I used the Sony A1 and the 400 2.8 with 1.4x TC for most of the shots.
If you want, you can find more pictures (mostly birds) on my Instagram, just look for sin.wildlife
Best regards!
