Can someone please identify if the following pics are male or female Spot-crowned Antvireos? Taken in Costa Rica.

Well certainly not males. Where [precisely] in Costa Rica? Streak-crowned more likely in most parts of the country. I suspect this is one, judging by Macauley photos but the 2 species are pretty similar
 
Thanks Fern. The pics were taken in the northeast part of Costa Rica, and therefore you're right it would have to be Streak-crowned. And female.

I want to ask you to please upload one or more images to the gallery here in Birdforum. As far as I can see, we do not have a single image of a streak-crowned antvireo. I would also like to have upload one of them to the opus page.
