Spring migration has hit the Texas coast!! (1 Viewer)

For anyone who is considering a trip to the upper or central Texas coasts, you should know that migration appears to be in full swing with not only good numbers, but a great variety of migrants being seen. At Boy Scout Woods, High Island, they have already had days with 23 species of warblers seen!!! I went for a day trip and got some great species for the little time I was there.

The Corpus Christ/Port Aransas area is reporting much the same - great numbers & variety!

I recommend checking Texbirds, NARBA and eBird for recent sightings - though Texbirds should be the one you check the most since not everyone posts on eBird.
