Still need binoculars if have camera ? (1 Viewer)

Big thanks to everyone for the responses and advice. Just about to trade up to a better pair of bins, and bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ-330 camera, so almost ready to get out there !! I am picking up bird sounds pretty quickly now, and find myself walking along saying "robin, blue tit, goldfinch.." and people looking at me like I have something wrong with me !!
