Swarovski ATX 95 Case (1 Viewer)

Has anyone managed to find a stockist for the stay on case for this new scope?

Alternatively has anyone found a third party case that fits?

It seems that Swarovski have not yet released their own case.

Suggestions or thoughts would be welcome.

Tony

I bought an ATX 85 recently and am currently waiting for the stay on case. Inquiries through the dealer say that the swaro cases should be available soon. Perhaps this week or next.

Yes, I've had similar reassurances from my dealer for the last couple of months but still nothing. I fail to see how a company like Swarovski can produce such a high price scope without producing a suitable case about the same time.

After a few weeks wait, a Stay-On Case for the ATX/85mm was drop-shipped to a customer yesterday here in the States.

I was looking on Uttings web site and they showed stay on cases for both the eye piece and front piece as separate items. The price was close to £200 for both. Sounds very expensive as the last ones were £155.

I looked at the Uttings web site but when I went through to order they were showing as "out of stock". The same on the Cley Spey website.

For my older Swarovski ATS 80HD scope, I decided the cost of a Swarovski brand stay on case was ridiculous. I ended up getting a Cabela's "Snug Rug" case to protect the scope as well as the balance rail when I need it most, i.e., when it's knocking around with other gear in the back of my vehicle. Of course it's not the same as a stay-on case, and I do need to take a minute to remove the scope from the tripod to put it in the case. If I'm on a field trip and we're stopping along the road every few minutes to get out and use the scope, then I leave the scope on the tripod and don't use any case. But I'm happy with this.

Not sure if the Snug Rug fits the newest Swarovski ATX scopes, but you could ask Cabela's. They also sell a stay-on neoprene case.

I had a look at the Cabelas case and its doubtful it would fit the ATX. I prefer the stay on case design as it offers good protection to the scope when out and about.

I had ordered the Swarovski stay on case and finally picked it up yesterday. It is excellent and is everything I expected from Swarovski. Over time I expect Ace Cameras will introduce a compatible stay on case at a competitive price. I have had two Ace Optics stay on cases over 10-15 years. They are very well made and I would certainly recommend them.

ATX 95 case

Hello,
I also have just received one for the ATX95. very nice, but it fits too mucch such I cannot open the the shade ring.
On more remark, with the case, it is not easy to go quickly from 30 to 70, you have to move several times the hand?
Also, I expect to not use the neoprene eye piece cover and not the objective plastic cover. I think case protection can be enought ??.
What is your experience ??
Regards
Yves

ATX 95 - Levis style case

Hello,
As all user of ATX 95, the case was not available are the early stages.
After many hours of work with a cloth designer, we managed to create an unique case which fits perfectly to the scope. It is made from a Levis trouser. Back pockets were used as zomm/focus rings covers.
Very functionnal case (with elastic straps and velcro)
Details are perfects, including the red label on the pocket!
It is also better beeing "incognito " rather than showing the "poshy" SWAROVSKI brand name :), and also having an unique item.
I may resell it if I cannot manage to use easily the new Swaro case of ATX95.
Regards
Yves

I also have the new case have you tried to turn your scope to the right via middle pin. The zip hits the scopes foot and jamming, the front cover magnet will not reach the top magnet either and on a windy day goes all over the place . yours alan .

Hi,
I think the SWA case is a bit expensive for the usage!
