Thank you. I did get a hold of Swarovski and their repair department will be closed until the middle of February. I think I’ll just send it in then. I don’t want to start forcing things and make it worse. I can wait a month or so.

With luck, Swaro will give your scope a bit of TLC and some clean up as well. Their service has a very fine reputation.

Actually they suggested that I don’t mess with it because it may void the lifetime guarantee. Plus I’ve been using mainly my Swarovski binoculars lately so I may sell my spotting scope, and it would help if it is given the once over by Swarovski. Thanks so much for your help!
