Tenthredo temula ID? (Cambs. UK) (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Last one for a while I promise.........

I think this is Tenthredo temula, a wasp mimic sawfly.
It's got that chunky feel of a Tenthredo and the only one I could find with similar markings was this one.

Could someone please take a look and let me know?

Can't comment on the possible ID, but have you compared with Steven Falk's Flicker site at Steven Falk's collections on Flickr
Hi Martin, yes, his Flickr account is one of the sources that I use. If he has photographed an insect, there is usually such a great range of pictures that identification is ofter not to difficult. The difficulty is if there are similar looking species that are not included. Which can happen. G
 
Your ID looks right to me although she is a bit of a tatty old specimen - particularly the wings. The yellow markings are right.
