i would like anyone whom is interested that the bittern that was on testos boldon was rescued 24th december hours away from the latest casualty of the recent cold spell was successfully release with the kind help of tyneside coastline conservation club and the bto it was rung,weighed and measured and identified as a now healthy adult female well done to all involved to spot a rare bird is fantastic butto have the ability to spot thatthese birds from time to time need us to play god an go that extra 9 yards id like to thank the bird for blessing my xmas with its company may it go on and produce many offspring to enrich this and many other forums with sightings
