The Dike is open for use again after 2 years of repairs. There is a $5 charge on weekends, I am not sure if that is per car or per person. We checked it out Thursday afternoon.
Lots of Pelicans at the end of the dike.
Black skimmers about mile 3, must have been about 50 on the beach side.
One Frigate Bird, too far away for my 300mm lens, but nice to watch.
Loads of gulls, several types.
It was a great afternoon.
