ZEISS DTI thermal imaging cameras. For more discoveries at night, and during the day.

The colors and NL Pure late at night. (1 Viewer)

I bought a black SF 8x42 produced several years ago. When I compared that SF 8x42 with NL 8x42 I clearly saw the difference and understood exactly what it means "...whites with the SF look a bit "dirty white'compared with the NL and black is blacker and white is whiter (snow white) for the NL..." But early this year, I sent my SF 8x42 in for Zeiss to address the flare issues. Zeiss decided to keep my bino for further analysis and studies and send me a replacement, the latest SF 8x42 pairs. Now the colors rendition of the latest SF 8x42 is very similar to the NL's. Put them side by side, I can't see any differences between the white and black! look like they use the same glasses or coating except Zeiss' green color is a hint richer as usual.
