I read this article, and was appalled by the way this BoP died in February 2014, and more to the point in how the situation was handled by the Police.

I thought that Police Wildlife Officers are already employed to handle issues like this one presents - or am I wrong saying this :C

i have been saddened and brought this to alot of peoples attention even non birding people have read of it.i hear a reward of 10,000 has been put forward although i hate to say it money speaks louder than words.should find the culprit but then what will be done.tragic in this day and age ignorance is still around.
