Tuatara (1 Viewer)

They live off a couple small islands between the north and south islands in New Zealand it's the ony place they live in the world. My guess is there's probably a somewhat good chance you'll find them but I'm not sure.

there are two species of tuatara, your best chance of seeing them is in a zoo because i think i'm right in saying that it is very difficult to get permisson onto those islands

Hallo,

I saw Tuatara in Otoranga Birdhouse.
I am not sure but there is an island in Bay of plenty, where is possible to see Tuatara. I bin in Bay of plenty in December, but this island closed until end of January.
Buy the way I also did not saw Rhacodactylus in New Caledonia.

Best regards
Dieter
