Tucson Arizona Hummingbird (1 Viewer)

Well-known member
Photographed this hummer in Tucson last week.
Given the spread of the gorget and the apparent purple, wondering whether this is a Costa's.
Thanks for your help.Hummingbird.jpg

Yes, it is a Costa's Hummingbird. The very long gorget feathers are longer than an Anna's Hummingbird would have.
