Tui (1 Viewer)

Nice to see a picture of a Tui, it was a 4 month cycle tour of NZ that got us in to birding. The tui was always a favourite and seemed to enjoy making a sound like a squeak as I cycled by, several times it had me thinking there was something wrong with the bike when it did this.

Saw loads of them around South Island , when on honeymoon this February. Our NZ favourites were Fantails, and a Shining Cuckoo, though Riflemen were cute as well. Kea weren't bad either......stop me! I want to go back , NOW!
