Two Mystery Warblers from Ayni, Tajikistan-9/11/2024 (1 Viewer)

The first bird (two photos) was generally seen perched and moving around sporadically. Seems possible for Hume's, which there were so many of around, but I am unsure. The second one (two photos) was on the ground, generally pretty skulky, and kicking around on the ground a bit. Both small warblers, but relative size hard to be sure of due to lack of reference point for either sighting.

The first looks to be either Greenish or Green warbler, probably the former. The second looks a bit like Paddyfield in the face, but the tail shape and jizz (amongst other features) confirm it to be a Booted warbler.

Welcome to birdforum btw!
Thank you so much for your input! I was leaning that direction on both, but the Hume's vs greenish distinction was very difficult for me while I was there. Booted was the only one that seemed pallid enough, but also a decent rarity and VERY outside my wheelhouse.
