Distant hawk, but no direct size comparison. Originally dismissed as Sparrowhawk as appeared 'small' but these heavily cropped pics post-event to my eye now appear to be more male Gos-like, not least stocky build especially girth, rear wing shape with little 'hand' extension, tail bar pattern with heavy markings on inner feathers; undecided on head/neck extension
Any thoughts would be much appreciated please; supporting reasons would also be helpful
