My husband and I will be visiting Sydney and the surrounding areas in May, and we're eager to join local birding activities or meetups. As experienced birdwatchers, we look forward to connecting with the birding community and experiencing Australian birding, both within and outside of Sydney. We are also in the market for new birding gear and would appreciate recommendations for reputable shops that offer quality optics and other birding equipment.
Could anyone suggest any active birding groups or events happening in May, both in Sydney and in nearby areas? Also, any tips on good shops for birding optics and equipment would be greatly appreciated!
