The attached (albeit rather shoddy) photos show, I uncertainly think:

• 9940 and 9942: Common greenshank, based on long, greenish legs, white curve by wing, and long and slightly upturned bill?
• 1fa1 and 1f94: Common greenshank in the back and Common redshank in the foreground?

Photos taken Dec 18 at a (dwindling) marsh in the center of Baghdad, Iraq.
All corrections, comments and corrections much appreciated.
